Dr. Harvey Deitel, Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of Deitel & Associates, Inc., has over 55 years of experience in the computer field. Dr. Deitel earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Boston University–he studied computing in each of these programs before they spun off Computer Science programs. Definitely a good book to get started with programming

Content of the book is okay, not the biggest fan of Pearson. Definitely a good book to get started with programming. The book however did arrive ripped and pages folded over from Amazon, dissatisfied with that.
